These are our motor vehicle trails. Have been for many years. Family members of mine, that have since passed, have contributed to the making and upkeep of these trails, and now they are slowly being taken from us, and given to out of state, horse riders, that do not respect us as motor vehicle, off road enthusiasts.

We should be able to share the land. We have no trouble with pulling over, and respecting the horses. We only wish they had the same respect for us, on the few trails they do still let us use.
These are our local ATV and motor vehicle trails. Those of us that were born here have been using them for off road adventures with our motor vehicles since we were very young. There are very few motor vehicle trails in our area, so we cherish the few we have.
Within recent years, all of our motor vehicle trails are being closed off, and instead opened up for use only with horses. Most of the people who use these horse trails, that were once OUR motor vehicle trails, are not even from new York State.
The local people from the area have little say in what happens with these motor vehicle trails now. They are all being converted to horse trails.
